Mother’s Day should not involve Mum standing in the kitchen making breakfast while everyone else “helps” by asking where the good plates are.
This year, bring her to the table properly.
Join us at Roving Larder Cooking School in Manly for a beautiful, hands-on Mother’s Day brunch experience where you cook together, laugh together, and then sit down to a generous long-table brunch without anyone having to shop, prep, plate, host or clean up.
Adults are $129 per person. Children can be added when booking: 6–12 years $79, and under 6 $39.
This is not a rushed café booking.
This is not toast and a bunch of flowers.
This is Mother’s Day with flavour, warmth, family, and a little bit of “look at us, we made hollandaise.”
You’ll arrive, be welcomed with a gorgeous drink, step into the kitchen for a fun chef-led cooking session, then gather around a beautifully set long table to enjoy everything you’ve made — plus all the extra brunch goodness that makes the morning feel abundant and special.

You’ll learn how to create a brunch favourite without the usual kitchen panic:
perfectly poached eggs
silky hollandaise with a foolproof method
toasted English muffins
smoked salmon with fresh herbs and lemon

French Toast, Proper French Style
Golden on the outside, soft and custardy in the middle, made with beautiful brioche and finished with all the lovely bits:
vanilla and cinnamon French toast
soft brioche with golden edges
berry finishes
dusting, drizzle and pretty plating touches
Not sad weekday French toast.
Proper “Mum deserves this” French toast.
Because Mother’s Day brunch should feel generous, relaxed and just a little bit gorgeous.
After cooking, we’ll gather at the long table, set with flowers and beautiful touches, to enjoy your brunch together.
Alongside the dishes you’ve made, the table will include:
