THE YOUNG CHEFS KITCHEN — AMERICAN DINER


A full-day, hands-on cooking adventure for young people who love making real food from scratch.


In this practical and social class, young chefs will explore American flavours while learning safe knife skills, preparation, cooking, baking, teamwork and presentation. They will prepare a generous savoury lunch and finish the day with a homemade sweet treat.


WHAT WE’LL MAKE


SAVOURY: Smashburger sliders with homemade burger sauce and loaded wedges.


SWEET: Glazed ring doughnuts.


WHAT’S INCLUDED


• Six hours of guided, hands-on cooking

• All ingredients, aprons and equipment

• The savoury dishes prepared and enjoyed as lunch

• The sweet bake or dessert to taste and take home where appropriate

• RL recipes and practical kitchen skills

• Water and suitable refreshments throughout the day


Designed for young cooks aged 10–14. Please advise allergies and dietary requirements before booking. Menu adaptations are subject to ingredient and safety feasibility.


Bring closed shoes, comfortable clothes, long hair tied back and a reusable water bottle. No previous cooking experience is required.
